Artist's Comments

Pulling the slide back drops the barrel and sets the hammer and firing pin. 10 round magazine inserts fully into the gun. Sights marked for easy target acquisition.

Problems:
1. It's too fat: PyBrick M1911-A1 is 4-studs wide and the Springfield Armory M1911-A1 is 3-studs wide.
2. Hammer is 1 stud too wide
3. Hammer needs to be light gray

Thanks. The M1911 is my favorite by far; it helps to have experience shooting various handguns.

No prob, and I know what you mean. Shooting a 9mm can't really compare to feeling of power from the M1911.

I'm actually curious about something as well: Do you every build vehicles with your Legos?

I have tried replicating a 1:18 diecast model of a Lamborghini Diablo SV. It was a complete failure, but that was a few years before April 2004, when I built my first gun.

The M1911 has power, reliability, and accuracy. I am very precise with the M1911. However, it's harder to get the same precision with a Walther P99, ironically.
